There are
a wide variety of things to do in and around Ruidoso. Some depends on the
season, like horse races or snow skiing, but much does not depend always on the
season.
Much depends on what you like to do -
and there are a lot of choices. From leisurely golf games to hiking,
camping, fishing and similar pursuits. What might greatest about Ruidoso
are all the things to do, event, and the selection of thing to do near Ruidoso.
Within
about an hour's drive, one can get to the ghost town of White Oaks, or the
pertroglyphs of Three Rivers, or, one of my favorites, White Sands National
Monument. Did you know that White Sands is open late during the summer to
watch the full moon set? It can be spectacular and makes wonderful
memories. Nearby is also the historic town of Lincoln where Billy the Kid
was made famous.
Ruidoso
is not a far drive from other parts of New Mexico - a state rich in diversity of
people, cultures, history and attractions. Ruidoso, though, is the place
to live in New Mexico. A fair climate, good schools, a growing economy and
so many options for your free time.
I look forward to hearing fro you so
I can show you the rest of Ruidoso.
